In transit from Paris to Sydney in 2013, I seized the opportunity to stop in Bangkok for ~24 hours on a long layover. Some quick research on TripAdvisor snagged me a driver and guide to race around the key sites of this city where everything goes. Ultimately, I will get back there for a longer stay at some point.
